Honeywell ScanPal and EAN13 barcodes

Picqer supports Honeywell ScanPal EDA5S out of the box, but for using EAN13 barcodes, you need to adjust a setting yourself.

By default, the "check digit," the last number of a barcode, is not included in the scan result. To resolve this, you need to perform the following steps:

• On the scanner, go to: Settings > Honeywell Settings > Scanning > Internal Scanner > Default > Symbology Settings.
• Tap on the text "EAN13."
• Check "Send Check digit."
