Updated design detail pages

We have updated the detail pages for products, orders, and picklists.

On March 4, 2025, everyone will get the newest pages, but you can switch your entire account over earlier if you want to.

Gradual transition

Over the past two years, we have redesigned all pages in Picqer with a new struture and appearance.

For 3 pages, we first allowed you to try the new version because they were significantly different in structure and are essential to warehouse operations. We refined these pages based on feedback. Now, we are ready to transition everyone to the new design for the product, order, and picklist detail pages.

Many users are already working with the new pages, but now we are switching over all users who are still using the old versions. On Tuesday, March 4, everyone will be getting the new layout.

Would you like to switch earlier? As an administrator, you can enable the new layout for all users in your account. Switch your account here

Instant answers

The new pages bring two major improvements:

  • We group related information together. A product, order, or picklist can contain a lot of different details, sometimes making it hard to find the right information. The new pages are divided into separate 'cards,' each focusing on a specific topic. This makes it easier to find the information you need quickly. It also gives us more room for new features in the future.
  • The pages provide direct answers. In the old design, we primarily displayed all available information, such as lists of backorders or purchase orders. However, when visiting a detail page, you are usually looking for an answer to a specific question, like: "When will this product be available again?" or "Why hasn’t this order been shipped yet?"

The new pages provide clear answers to these questions. For example, on an order page, you can immediately see which products are still pending and when they are expected, and on a product page, you can see when all backorders can be fulfilled.
