DHL eCommerce integration
With the DHL eCommerce integration, you create shipping labels in Picqer that are pre-registered with DHL straight away. DHL eCommerce built the integration and also supports it, so you can send any questions to ecommercesales.applicationsupport@dhl.com.

Preparation
The integration works with a Dutch or Belgian DHL eCommerce account. Picqer connects using an API key, which you create in My DHL Portal. Don't have an account yet? Create a free business account.
Log in to My DHL Portal.
Click your username at the top right, then 'Settings'. Open the 'API keys' tab.
Click 'Generate new API key', enter 'Picqer' as the description and click 'Create API key'.
You'll now see a UserId and a Key. You enter both in Picqer next.
Connect the shipping provider
Enter the UserId and Key.
Click 'Save'.
Set up a shipping profile
Once connected, you create a shipping profile. This is where you pick the DHL product, such as a parcel, a mailbox parcel or a pallet, and the extra services that go on the label. Each combination is a separate shipping profile. Add more with 'Add shipping profile' and let a rule pick the right one, for example a mailbox parcel for small orders.
Pickup locations
If your customer picked a DHL pickup location in the Netherlands at checkout, Picqer sends the shipment there. This only works if your store passes your customer's choice on. See shipping options per store for which stores do.
Insured value
When you insure shipments in the shipping profile, you also choose which amount Picqer passes on as the insured value:
- Total paid: the amount your customer paid for the order.
- Value of goods: the cost price of the products in the picklist. For a product without a cost price, Picqer uses the selling price from the order instead.
Shipping outside the EU
You can't create shipments to countries outside the EU with this integration, because DHL doesn't create export documents through it. Create these shipments in My DHL Portal instead.
