Frequently Asked Questions about Magento 1
Picqer is slowing down my shop, what can I do about it?
The connection between Picqer and your shop adds extra load on your shop. Picqer communicates about your inventory, products, and orders. We do this as efficiently as possible.
Stock changes are relatively heavy for Magento. By default, Magento reindexes your entire inventory after each change. We recommend changing this setting in collaboration with your developer. Stock changes will then be updated periodically, instead of after each command from Picqer.
You can configure this in Magento via System > Index Management. There, change Stock Status to Manual Update. Then, you can set up a cronjob to update the index every minute or a few minutes:
Which shipping options are supported?
Check the page Shipping options per webshop for an overview of all supported carriers and options for Magento.
How does Picqer handle discounts?
For orders, Picqer uses the price per product line that Magento provides. When the discount is included in the product lines, it will be correctly processed in Picqer. Picqer cannot import order-level discounts.
Why is my sale price not imported for products?
Magento has a 'special price' attribute for products. This is intended for temporary discounts. Since products are imported into Picqer only once and are not updated automatically, Picqer imports the normal product price. When importing orders, Picqer receives the correct price per order.
