Picqer app supported systems

The Picqer app is available for iOS and Android.

Android

We support Android 10 or higher (API version 29 or higher).

Barcode Scanner Android

You can use the app on any Android device without a barcode scanner. Additionally, we support the following scanners without extra configuration:

  • Zebra TC2x series, such as the Zebra TC21 and Zebra TC22
  • Zebra TC5x series, such as the TC53
  • Zebra TC7x series, such as the TC53
  • Honeywell ScanPal EDA5S (see Honeywell and EAN13)

Additionally, on Android, we support scanners that emulate a keyboard (HID) and which allow manual configuration of an Android Intent.

Zebra TC scanners are automatically configured by the Picqer app. Do you have a different scanner that doesn't work directly? Please let us know and we will assist in configuring the scanner manually.

iOS

We support: Apple iPhone or iPod touch with iOS 15 or higher.

For example, the iPod touch 7th generation and the iPhone 6S or newer.

Barcode Scanner iOS

On iOS, we support physical barcode scanners that you can attach as a 'case' to your iPod touch or iPhone. We support the following types:

  • Linea Pro 5 Series for iPod touches of the 7th generation (124918-0002 & 124918-0007)
  • Linea Pro 7 Series for iPhones 7, 8, and SE (124918-0058)
  • Honeywell Captuvo SL22 for iPod touch 7 (SL22-022201-k, SL22-022211-k)
  • Honeywell Captuvo SL42 for iPhone 6S (SL42-055301-k, SL42-065301-k)

You can also use the app without a barcode scanner.

Other barcode scanners do not work with the iOS app. This is due to Apple's hardware verification program. We need permission from both the manufacturer and Apple to support the hardware per device.
