How to link products to locations

Each location can be linked to one or more products. If no products are linked to a location, the location is available. A product is automatically linked to a location when you add stock for that product to the location.

Linking products one by one

You can link a product using the location picker, which you’ll find when editing a product.

Linking multiple products at once

You can link multiple products to locations at once, using a product import.

Create a product export.

In the “stock location” column, enter the desired locations. You can add multiple locations by separating them with a comma.

Save the file.

Create a product import.

Upload the file and choose the desired import strategy. Then proceed to the next step.

Map the Excel columns to the corresponding fields in Picqer. You’ll see a preview of each selected value on the right. Then proceed to the preview.

Check the preview. If something looks wrong, you can cancel the import by clicking ‘Cancel import’.

Everything correct? Click ‘Import products’. The changes will now be applied in Picqer. This may take a few minutes. The import runs in the background, so you can continue working in Picqer while it completes.
