Using PostNL pickup points with MyParcel

Via MyParcel you can use PostNL’s pickup points. These are pickup points in the Netherlands and time frame deliveries.

If an order in Picqer has pickup points data, Picqer will automatically use this to create a pickup point shipment in MyParcel. You do not need to set up anything in the MyParcel package service for this.

If there is no pickup point data known, a normal shipment will be created according to the shipping profile settings.

The options such as "uninsured shipping", "insured shipping" and "large package and insured" that are set in the profile, are also used for pickup point shipments.

Orders with pickup point

To get the pickup point settings of orders to Picqer, we support the following 3 ways:

Magento 2

Install the Magento MyParcel plug-in in your webshop. Picqer now imports the data automatically for new orders.

WooCommerce

Install the WooCommerce MyParcel plug-in in your webshop. Picqer now imports the data automatically for new orders.

MyParcel has the option for "Track & trace in email" in its extension. This does not work because the shipment is not created via WooCommerce.

Picqer API

When webshop orders are entered through the Picqer API, you provide "pickup point" data for PostNL. You can find examples on this page.

Supported options

  • Normal shipments
  • Pickup locations in the Netherlands
  • Pickup locations in Belgium
  • Evening delivery
  • Letter box
  • Delayed delivery

Additional options such as signatures, only home address or insured shipping are not taken from the shop. These options are determined by the shipping profile in Picqer.
