Shippo integration

Shippo is a 'gateway' that gives you access to a lot of different carriers. Mainly focused on international shipping and inside the United States.

What do you need?

  • Shippo account
    Create a new account on the Shippo website
  • Shippo Live API Token
    You can find this inside Shippo under the API item

Connecting Shippo

Follow these steps to connect Shippo to Picqer

  • In Picqer, click on 'Settings'
  • Click on 'Shipping providers'
  • On the top right, choose '+ New shipping provider'
  • Now you see this screen:
    Add Shippo to Picqer
  • Choose a name for this integration and select Shippo
  • Click on 'Save'

Account details

  • Now you see the following screen:
    Shippo account details
  • Enter your Shippo API Live Token
  • Click on 'Save'

Add a profile

Shippo is now connected as a shipping provider in Picqer. The following step is adding one or more profiles.

  • You will see this screen:
    Shippo sender address
  • Enter a name for this profile
  • Enter your sender address for this profile
  • Pick a shipping method, these are the current options in your Shippo profile
  • Click on 'Save'

You can create as many profiles as you like, for each combination of sender address and shipping method that you want to use in Picqer.

Box dimensions

Shippo needs the weight of the package as well as the dimensions of the box. When creating a shipment, Picqer will ask for the weight and dimensions. You can enter default values for the dimensions in a profile.

Supported countries

At this moment you can use Shippo to send shipments from European countries to other European countries. Support for international shipping and shipping inside the United States will be following shortly.
