Connecting Budbee
Budbee has a direct integration with Picqer, allowing you to create Budbee shipping labels from Picqer for home delivery or pickup lockers in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Budbee picks up the shipments directly from your warehouse and delivers them the same day or the next day between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM.

What is supported?
With this integration, you can create Budbee shipping labels. Home delivery (Budbee Home) is supported for all webshop platforms. For Shopify, WooCommerce, and Lightspeed, Picqer also supports parcel lockers, the Budbee Box.
These options can be configured per shipping profile:
- Location where Budbee picks up the shipments
- Mandatory recipient identification
- Minimum recipient age
- Signature upon delivery
- Recipient must be the addressee
- Number of delivery attempts before a shipment is returned
Preparation
Not a Budbee customer yet? Visit the website to fill out the registration form or send an email to sales@budbee.com.
To connect, you need the following Budbee credentials:
- Budbee API key
- Budbee API secret
Connect shipping service
In Picqer, go to Settings > Shipping Services > Add new shipping service.
Select Budbee from the list and click 'Connect'.
Give the integration a name and enter the Budbee API key and Budbee API secret provided by Budbee.
Click 'Save'.
You have now connected Picqer with Budbee. Next, add shipping profiles with the desired settings to this integration so labels can be created. Add additional shipping profiles by clicking '+ New shipping profile' in the top right corner of Picqer and follow the same steps.
Create a shipment
After setting up a new shipping service, it is recommended to place a test order with the new shipping method in your webshop. You can then process this order in Picqer, including printing the shipping label. This ensures all settings are correct. In the article How to create a shipment in Picqer?, you can learn how to create a shipment in Picqer.
If you have added multiple shipping profiles, you can further automate the selection between them using rules.
ZPL labels
The Budbee integration provides both PDF labels and ZPL labels in A6 format to Picqer. ZPL labels print much sharper on Zebra printers than standard PDF labels. If you use Zebra printers, we recommend enabling their ZPL support:
Enable ZPL support in Picqer printer settings:
- Go to Settings > Printers
- Click 'Edit' next to the relevant Zebra printer(s)
- Set ZPL support to 'Yes'
Now, ZPL labels will be preferred over PDF labels when printing on these printers.
