Connect PakketMail

With the integration with PakketMail, you can quickly and easily access multiple carriers.

What is supported?

With the integration between Picqer and PakketMail, you can do the following:

  • Link your own shipping agreements, use PakketMail's shipping agreements, or a combination of both
  • Send mailbox parcels, packages, and pallets to individuals and businesses within the Netherlands, Europe, and worldwide
  • Use workflow rules to minimize the amount of choices pickers have to make
  • Connect carriers such as PostNL, GLS, DHL eCommerce, DPD, and UPS in the Netherlands, GLS and bpost in Belgium, as well as Spanish and Portuguese carriers like Correos Express, CTT Correios, CTT Express, and others
  • Use the various shipping options available from the connected carriers
  • Select pickup points in combination with a separate shop plugin for one of the following webshops: Magento, Magento 2, Lightspeed, Shopify, and WooCommerce.

Preparation

To connect Picqer with PakketMail, you will need a username and an API key.

You can find the API key in 'My Pakketmail'. Log in and go to 'Settings' > 'Integrations' > 'Key management' and then click 'Create new keys'. Activate the keys and copy the public key.

If you are not yet a customer of PakketMail, contact PakketMail and let them know you are interested in connecting PakketMail with Picqer. Based on your needs, an account will be set up, and you will receive access.

Connect Parcel Service

Select PakketMail from the list and click 'Connect'.

Enter your PakketMail username and API key.

Click 'Save'

You have now connected Picqer with PakketMail.

Now, we will add shipping profiles. You can create as many shipping profiles as you want for each carrier. For advice on setting up your Shipping Methods, you can reach out to PakketMail. Contact them or consult the installation guide in your PakketMail account (Settings > Integrations > All integrations > Picqer).

Create Shipment

After setting up a new parcel service, you can place a test order with the new shipping method in your webshop. You can then process this order in Picqer, including printing the shipping label. This ensures that all settings are correct. In the article How to create a shipment in Picqer you can read how this works.

If you have added multiple shipping profiles, you can further automate the choice between them using rules.
