Connecting TransMission

TransMission has a direct integration with Picqer, allowing you to create TransMission shipping labels from Picqer.

What is supported?

The integration supports general cargo and parcel shipments within the Benelux, including single packages, several pallet sizes, gitterboxes, and bundles. Each shipment gets 1 label; multiple packages on 1 shipment is not supported.

Preparation

  • If you are not yet a customer of TransMission, first contact TransMission and then start the integration with Picqer.
  • Make sure you have your username, password, depot number, and shipper number ready.

Connecting the shipping provider

Go to 'Settings' > 'New integration' > TransMission.

Enter your TransMission username and password in 'Transmission username' and 'Transmission password'. Enter your depot number and shipper number in 'Depot number' and 'Verlader number'.

Click 'Save'.

Adding shipping profiles

You have now connected Picqer with TransMission. Next, add shipping profiles with the combinations of settings you want to use.

Click '+ New shipping profile' in the top right.

Fill in the fields:

  • In 'Name', give the profile an internal name, so you can easily tell your shipping profiles apart.
  • The sender fields ('Sender name' through 'Sender email address') are optional. Fill them in to use a different sender address on the shipment.
  • In 'Shipment type', choose the type of shipment we create with TransMission, for example 'Stukgoed - Colli' (general cargo) or 'Pakket - Colli' (parcel).
  • In 'Standaard lengte (cm)', 'Standaard breedte (cm)', and 'Standaard hoogte (cm)', enter the default length, width, and height in centimeters. These are prefilled when you create a shipment, and you can still change them per shipment.
  • In 'Standaard afleverinstructie', enter the delivery instruction that is prefilled when you create a shipment.
  • With 'Zaterdaglevering', you indicate that shipments with this profile may be delivered on Saturday.

Click 'Save'.

Add additional shipping profiles by repeating these steps.

Creating a shipment

After connecting a new shipping provider, we recommend placing a test order in your store using the new shipping method. Process this order in Picqer, including printing the shipping label, to make sure all settings are correct. The article How to create a shipment in Picqer? explains the process.

Shipments you create in Picqer appear in the TransMission portal as open orders. There you select which shipments go out that day and send them definitively with 'Definitief versturen'. Do this before the pickup time you agreed with TransMission.

If you have added multiple shipping profiles, you can further automate the selection between them using rules.
