Purchase Advice Classic

With Purchase Advice Classic, Picqer automatically calculates which products you need to purchase. You receive a clear advice that you can immediately convert into a purchase order.

Purchase Advice

Go to Purchasing > Tools and navigate to "Purchase Advice Classic". The advice is calculated per warehouse, based on the available stock and stock strategy of the products in the selected warehouse. Stock in other warehouses is shown for reference only and is not included in the advice.

You can view the purchase advice for all suppliers at once or filter by a specific supplier.

Advice

Picqer checks the outstanding backorders and calculates how many units are needed to fulfill them. In addition, Picqer takes the configured stock strategy into account.

If products with outstanding backorders also have an stock strategy configured, the quantity required according to the strategy is added to the quantity needed for the backorders.

When no stock strategy has been configured, the advice is based solely on the outstanding backorders. If there are no backorders, Picqer only provides recommendations based on the stock strategy.

Create a Purchase Order

Would you like to purchase these products? Click "Create purchase order from this advice" and a new purchase order containing these products will be created.

You can still make changes within the purchase order, such as adjusting quantities, removing products, or adding other products. Happy with the order? Save it and place the order with your supplier.
