Snoozing Vvb orders
You can't always ship Shipping via bol (Vvb) orders right away. Bol tells you per order when you may hand the shipment over to the carrier, and Picqer automatically snoozes picklists with a Vvb shipment until then, so you never hand them over too early.

Set up snoozing
You choose which picklists Picqer snoozes in the store settings of the bol integration, under 'Orders' and 'Advanced'. For 'Delay picking of VVB orders until earliest handover time', choose:
- For all VVB orders (recommended): Picqer snoozes every picklist with a Vvb shipment until the allowed handover time. This is the default.
- Only when consumer selected a specific delivery date: Picqer only snoozes picklists where the customer specified a preferred delivery date. For orders without a preferred delivery date, the handover time with the carrier is not taken into account.
The second option gives you more flexibility in the picking process, so you can pick orders a day earlier, for example. However, if these orders are handed over too early, bol may issue a warning.
Example: a customer orders on July 18 at 12:00 without a preferred delivery date. The shipment uses a Vvb PostNL label, and bol only allows you to hand it over on July 19.
- With 'For all VVB orders (recommended)', Picqer snoozes the picklist until July 19, 00:00.
- With 'Only when consumer selected a specific delivery date', you can process the picklist right away. If you hand the shipment over on July 18, bol may issue a warning.
What the snooze is based on
Bol specifies per order when a shipment can be handed over to the carrier and when it can be delivered to the customer at the earliest. Picqer takes these times into account.
The handover time with the carrier is leading for Vvb orders, even if the customer has selected a different delivery date. As a result, Picqer might snooze picklists to a different time than you would expect based on the desired delivery date. Dropping off too early or too late with the carrier can cause warnings from bol. Therefore, we snooze to the earliest allowed handover time by default.
Until when Picqer snoozes
By default, we snooze orders until 00:00 (midnight) on the day you're allowed to ship the order. You can move this time earlier in your store settings with the option 'Time-shift VVB midnight release'.
Budbee, DHL-SD and Ampère are exceptions. These carriers are always unsnoozed at 12:00 (Budbee) and 15:00 (DHL-SD and Ampère) on the day before delivery.
Snoozing and rules
The snooze for Vvb happens before rules are applied. You can adjust the snooze time until picklists are unsnoozed by using rules.
However, we recommend not doing this and relying on the time Picqer selects to unsnooze the picklist, as the allowed drop-off times from bol can change.
