Connect Sendcloud
With Sendcloud you can send packages via various carriers. Use your own contract, or Sendcloud's bulk pricing.
Preparation
Picqer connects using an API key, which you create in the Sendcloud panel. Not a Sendcloud customer yet? Contact Sendcloud and let them know you want to use Sendcloud with Picqer.
In Sendcloud, go to Settings > Integrations, search for Picqer and click 'Connect'. Enter 'Picqer' as the name of the new integration and save it. You'll need the 'Public key' and 'Secret key' when you connect Sendcloud in Picqer.
Connect the shipping provider
In Picqer, go to Settings > Shipping providers > Add new shipping provider > Sendcloud.
Give the shipping provider a name. Enter the 'Public key' in 'Sendcloud Public key' and the 'Secret key' in 'Sendcloud Secret key'.
Click 'Save'.
Set up a shipping profile
Once connected, you create a shipping profile. Enter a 'Name', and choose the right method under 'Shipping method'.
Each shipping profile ships with one fixed Sendcloud shipping method. Want to use more than one method? Add more profiles with 'Add shipping profile' and let a rule pick the right one.
Pickup points
If your customer picks a Sendcloud pickup point at checkout, Picqer sends the shipment there. For shipments to a pickup point, set 'Contract' to 'Default' in the shipping profile. Sendcloud then automatically uses the right contract for the carrier that serves the pickup point.
This only works if your store passes that choice on. See shipping options per store for which stores do.
Insured shipping
If you set 'Insured' to 'Yes' in the shipping profile, Picqer passes on the total selling price including VAT of the products in the picklist as the insured value, up to € 5,000 per shipment. When you send multiple boxes, Picqer splits that amount across the boxes.
Pass products on to Sendcloud
'Include parcel items' controls whether Picqer passes the products in the shipment on to Sendcloud. By default it's set to 'Only when required for customs', so Picqer only sends the products when customs needs them.
Using Sendcloud's return portal? The portal takes the products from the original shipment. So choose 'Always' in the shipping profile to let your customers pick which products they're sending back.
You can't create a shipment with multiple boxes if 'Always' is on in the shipping profile, or if the shipment needs customs information, for example when you ship outside the EU.
