Magento 1 Configuration

Here you can learn about the settings that can be configured for each Magento webshop.

To get started, you first need to connect your webshop. You can find instructions in the article Linking Magento 1.

To modify the settings for your Magento connection, go to Settings > Webshops > Your Magento webshop > Edit in Picqer.

Synchronization

Import orders from webshop

The moment Picqer imports orders

  • Yes, including expected orders: all orders will be imported. Orders that cannot be shipped yet because they haven't been paid will temporarily have the status 'Expected'. Inventory will be reserved.
  • Yes, excluding expected orders: only paid orders (i.e., those with the correct status) will be imported to Picqer.
  • No: no orders will be imported to Picqer at all.

Import starting inventory from webshop

When new products are imported from Magento to Picqer, Picqer can adopt the inventory from Magento as the starting stock. After that, Picqer will be the leading source for inventory.

Send inventory changes to webshop

Updates the inventory in the webshop when there is a change in available stock in Picqer. Additionally, Picqer will check and correct the webshop inventory every night if necessary.

Send shipments to webshop

Links tracking codes back to the webshop when a shipment is created in Picqer. Picqer will also mark orders as completed in the webshop.

Ignore product codes

Picqer will not import these products, and they will not appear in orders. If an order contains only ignored products, the entire order will be ignored.

About the Shop

Picqer Order Pusher extension installed

If you are using the Picqer Order Pusher extension, set this option to Yes.

Picqer PostNL extension installed

If you are using the Picqer PostNL extension, set this option to Yes.

Use tracking number workaround

If you are using the tracking number workaround, set this option to Yes.

Allow webshop to send notifications to customers about shipments

Picqer will instruct the webshop to send a notification when this option is set to Yes. If you send confirmations from Picqer, set this option to No.

House numbers on separate address line

If house numbers are placed on the second address line when orders are imported into Picqer, set this option to Yes.

VAT preference

Products do not have VAT in the webshop by default. VAT depends on the customer's country. Select the VAT rate for (most) products being delivered to the Netherlands. Picqer will associate this VAT rate with the products during import.

Use product name from cart as product name on order

If Yes, the product name displayed in the Magento cart will be shown on orders, pick lists, and packing slips. If No, the product name from Picqer will be used.

Linked Fields

Picqer has a number of standard fields that can be linked to attributes in Magento. This ensures that when a product is imported, the desired data is immediately available in Picqer. These standard fields are:

  • Barcode
  • Customer Notes
  • Cost Price (VVP)
  • Supplier
  • Supplier Product Code

Additionally, there are two fields with special functionality:

  • Customer number If you enter a Picqer customer number here, all orders from this webshop will be linked to the specified customer.
  • Shipping product The shipping product is used to display shipping costs in Picqer. If you enter a product code here, Picqer will add this product to every order with the shipping cost value.

Order Options

Process orders after import

If Yes, Picqer processes orders immediately and creates pick lists or backorders. If turned off, orders remain drafts and you can process them manually.

AutoSplit enabled

Determines whether AutoSplit is enabled by default for orders from this shop.

Order product price

Gives you the option to use prices from the webshop or prices from Picqer.

Store name tag

When enabled, a tag with the name of the Magento sub-store will be attached to each order.

Order status to import

Determines which order status in Magento should be imported into Picqer. "Processing" is usually the correct choice.

Order and Product Fields

You can extend the data Picqer stores with custom order and product fields. If you have extra fields, you can link them to Magento attributes here. Picqer will then adopt this information for new orders and products.

The linking of attributes is explained on the page Linking Magento Attributes.
