Templates

With templates in Picqer, you can personalize all outgoing communication. You manage the templates via Settings > Templates.

PDF Documents

The following PDF documents can be personalized:

  • Order confirmations
  • Picklists
  • Delivery notes
  • Purchase orders
  • Returns

Change Background

The background of the document can be customized; you can use your own logo or letterhead.

For the best result, create a JPG image in A4 size, placing your logo in the desired position. You can upload this image as the background of the PDF in Picqer.

Edit Text

Each document includes a table of products. You can add text above and below this table. See Formatting text with HTML to learn how to format the text.

Change Layout with CSS

You can modify the layout of the PDF documents by adding your own CSS to the templates. For more information, see Styling PDF documents with CSS.

Emails

The following emails can be personalized:

  • Shipping notification
Can be sent automatically after completing the picklist. Optionally includes the delivery note PDF as an attachment.
  • Order confirmation
Can be sent automatically when an order is processed, or manually per order. Includes the order confirmation PDF as an attachment.
  • Purchase order
Manually sent for each purchase order. Includes the purchase order PDF and Excel file as attachments.
  • Return status update
Manually sent whenever there is a status change for a return.

Change Image

You can display an image in the header of the emails. The image will be resized to fit within 200x200 pixels.

Change Sender

You can change the name and email address of the sender. The email address is used as the "Reply-To" address. To increase the chance of successful delivery, the "from" address is always notifications@picqerapp.com.

It is also possible to send emails from your own domain. For more information, see the help article.

Edit Text

The subject and content of the email are customizable. You use placeholders that are replaced with information from the associated order, purchase, or return when the email is sent.

The placeholders vary depending on the type of email. See the placeholders for:

Add conditions to adjust the text based on the situation. Learn how this works: Conditions in emails.

With "filters", you can manipulate text in templates for additional possibilities. See Filters in emails.

Assigning Templates

Ideally, you want Picqer to automatically select the correct template. There are several ways to influence this.

  • Default template: this template is automatically chosen unless otherwise specified.
  • Per webshop: via your webshop settings, you can select the desired template.
  • With rules: by creating an order rule and selecting the right conditions, Picqer will automatically choose the correct template.

For fulfillment users:

  • Per fulfillment customer: select a default template when editing the fulfillment customer here.
