Managing fulfilment customers

For every customer you provide fulfilment for, you create a fulfilment customer in Picqer. This article covers the information and settings you fill in, including creating login details for the fulfilment portal.

Create a fulfilment customer

Go to Fulfilment customers and click 'New fulfilment customer'. Enter at least a name, username, and password — these are required fields. Optionally add an email address: your customer receives notifications here, for example when they're @mentioned in a comment.

Access to portal

Set 'Access to portal' to Yes to give your customer their own login for the fulfilment portal. Your customer can log in immediately with the username and password you entered. They can change their own password afterwards in the fulfilment portal.

Preferences

Under 'Preferences', you set:

  • Preferred warehouse: the warehouse Picqer uses for purchase orders, receipts, and returns created through the fulfilment portal. For webshops you can set the desired warehouse in your webshop-settings.
  • Default template: the template used by default for this customer.
  • Allowed shipping profiles: the shipping profiles which can be used for this customer. If you don't select any, all profiles are allowed.

Portal settings

Under 'Portal', you determine what rights your customer has in the fulfilment portal.

  • Manage products: gives your customer access to add and edit their own products in the portal.
  • Create partial delivery: lets your customer create a picklist for the part of an order that's already in stock, without waiting for the rest to become available.
  • Notifications: shows which notifications your customer receives. Your customer can change their preferences themselves in the fulfilment portal.

View fulfilment customer

Click a customer in the fulfilment customers overview to view their details: the settings you've configured, the number of linked products, orders, and lines, and the stores connected to this customer. Click 'Show report' to view the fulfilment customer report for this customer.

Deactivate a fulfilment customer

Ending your services for a customer? Click 'Deactivate' on the fulfilment customer's page. Picqer then deactivates the associated data.
