Regular account or fulfilment account
Picqer has two account types: a regular account and a fulfilment account. Which type you need depends on who you process orders for. This page explains the differences.

When to choose a fulfilment account
A fulfilment account is designed for fulfilment centers and 3PL companies: businesses that process orders on behalf of multiple customers. Choose a fulfilment account if:
- you process orders for two or more external customers (webshops or brands),
- your customers need to see their own stock, orders, or returns,
- you want to report on order processing or storage usage per customer.
Do you only process your own orders and have no external customers? Then a regular account is usually the right choice.
Differences in a fulfilment account
There are a few differences between a regular Picqer account and a fulfilment account. Here's what works differently.
Customer separation
In a fulfilment account, all information is linked to a fulfilment customer: products, orders, purchase orders, and returns. This keeps different customers' data separate, even though you process everything in one overview. Picklists for all customers appear together in your account — you don't need to process them per customer separately.
Customer separation also applies to:
- Webshops — you link each webshop to a specific fulfilment customer. Products that come in through that webshop are automatically linked to the right customer.
- Templates and shipping profiles — you set these up per customer, so each customer gets their own packing slip and label layout.
- Reports — reports on order processing and storage usage are available per customer.
- API keys — Picqer supports scoped API keys that you set up per fulfilment customer. Via this way a customer has no access to another customer's data. Our API documentation lists all available endpoints for fulfilment customers.
- Webhooks — you create webhooks per fulfilment customer.
Fulfilment portal
Fulfilment customers get access to their own portal. There, they see their own products, orders, purchase orders, returns, and the number of linked locations. Through comments, they can communicate with your account.
In a regular Picqer account, you can use a client portal. The client portal isn't available for Picqer Fulfilment.
Purchase advice
Fulfilment customers can create their own purchase advice in the fulfilment portal. The purchase advice in your Picqer account is only available for products that aren't linked to a fulfilment customer.
Pricing plan
A fulfilment account has a different price than a regular account. You can find the current prices at the bottom of the fulfilment page.
